Ivy Women’s Cancer Care of Northwest Arkansas has merged with Highlands Oncology to form the areas only comprehensive cancer center. In doing so, all major services for cancer care are now under one roof. Dr. Ivy specializes in treating cancers of the vagina, cervix, uterus, ovaries, vulva and fallopian tubes. In addition to ovarian cancer screenings, we also offer preventative surgical treatment for women at high risk, including women with BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations as well as hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. Our goal is to complement good medicine with the highest standard of care utilizing the latest cutting-edge advancements in technology. Dr. Ivy is the leading minimally-invasive cancer surgeon, using the da Vinci® robotic surgical system in the state of Arkansas. We want your experience in our care to be as positive as possible with the minimum amount of recovery time. Our comprehensive cancer center allows Dr. Ivy to work handin-hand with medical oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, and social workers to develop and carry out a treatment plan that delivers the best possible outcome for you and your family. We pride ourself on being able to provide the most advanced medical care and technology available. As a patient of Dr. Ivy, you will have access to the most current medical and surgical therapies available in the US today. One clear example is the use of the da Vinci® Surgical System to perform gynecologic cancer surgery. What once required large abdominal incisions and lengthy hospital stays can now be accomplished using minimally invasive techniques that only require overnight hospital stays. We are the only center to offer this service in Northwest Arkansas, and also serve many patients from Northeastern Oklahoma, Southwestern Missouri and Southeastern Kansas.
